1984 US Olympic Team 18X Signed Basketball Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Stockton, Wayne Tisdale, Sam Perkins, Chris Mullin, Leon Wood, Chuck Person, Tim McCormick, John Koncak, Maurice Martin, Al Robertson, Lancaster Gordon, Terry Porter, Steve Alford, Jeff Turner & Joe Kleine. Includes JSA LOA.Coached by the mercurial Bobby Knight, the 1984 USA Olympic Basketball won the gold medal with a team of future NBA stars and Hall of Famers, a veritable who’s who of basketball legends. The 1984 Summer Olympics took place in Los Angeles, California from July 28th to August 12h, 1984. The team featured four of the five 1984 consensus first team All-Americans in Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Wayman Tisdale, and Sam Perkins. Jordan led the team in scoring and dazzled international audiences with his athleticism and was largely seen as a coming out party for the future star. With future Hall of Famers Ewing and Chris Mullin, the 1984 Men’s Olympic team was the last all-amateur team to win the gold medal.Presented here is a Wilson Official basketball signed by 18 members of the US Men’s Olympic Team that took home the gold in 1984. Michael Jordan and Leon Wood signed the panel above the “Wilson” stamp in black marker. Chris Mullin signed his name in black marker on the panel, as did Charles Barkley and Chuck Person, two hopefuls who were cut from the team before the Olympic Games. Tim McCormick signed and inscribed the number “44” in black marker and was cut from the team before the start of Olympic play. John Koncak, Maurice Martin, John Stockton, Al Robertson, Lancaster Gordon all signed the ball with a black marker and were cut from the team before Olympic play. Wayman Tisdale signed and inscribed the number “23” in black marker. Terry Porter, Steve Alford, Jeff Turner and Patrick Ewing signed the ball with black marker. The ball is in excellent condition and the signatures are bold and easy to read. The signed 1984 Olympic Team basketball comes with an LOA from JSA. Rare Large 1932 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Flag Stadium Banner Canvas Painted
CollectionHero
This listing is for a rare and really nice large 1932 Los Angeles summer Olympics flag of banner. I believe this would have hung at one of the stadiums. Flag is all original, retaining original metal hardware eyelets. Fabric is a linen/canvas thicker type that I believe is hand painted. This piece is quite large at 67 inches long by 36 inches wide. Flag displays really nicely with strong and bold colors. I find no holes in this piece, but there is some light stains, staining as you can see from the photos. Rare historical piece that does not come up for sale often. Flag will ship rolled and extremely well packaged. Ships well packaged, fast and free with USPS or UPS depending on your location. I did find some Olympic tickets from these games with this flag. I have not listed them but if you have interest in either set of fhem, please message me! (Condition: Pre-Owned)

1948 London Summer Olympics - Australian Team Jacket for MARJORIE JACKSON
CollectionHero
eBay One of the greatest Australian sprinters and Olympic champions in history, MARJORIE "MARJ" JACKSON (a.k.a. "The Lithgow Flash") won every state and national title she competed for from 1950-54, seven Commonwealth gold medals, two Olympic gold medals at Helsinki in 1952, and set six individual world records. Later in life, she became the governor of South Australia Offered here is a Team Australia Jacket produced for Marj Jackson in anticipation of her qualifying for the XIV Summer Olympics held in London, England (July 29 to August 14, 1948) as a 16 year old phenom. Despite failing to make the 1948 Australian Olympics squad, Jackson shocked the sports world in 1949 when, as a seventeen year old she defeated Fanny Blankers-Koen in both the 100-yard and 100-meter races. Blankers-Koen had won four gold medals at the London Games and was considered the greatest woman athlete in the world at the time. This heavy, long-sleeve green wool jacket sports wide lapels, three gold front buttons, three front pockets trimmed in gold, and gold trimmed sleeves. The true prize of this special item is the oversized Australia "coat of arms" logo on the chest breast pocket featuring two kangaroos and the words "Olympic Games 1948," all in intricate, multi-colored embroidery. On the interior of the jacket is sewn a cloth swatch which is stamped "4433 Jackson."A "David Lack Pty Ltd, Melbourne" label resides in the collar and, except for some small and relatively insignificant holes in the fabric, the jacket is in Excellent condition overall!
